Chamber Award Nominations

Nominations are open for the following Chamber Awards. 

Please see the information provided below and tells us why you are making the nomination. Submissions are anonymous. 

Nominations Close on October 9th at 4 pm.

Voting will begin October 19th and Close on November 20th.

HELPFUL TIPS ON HOW TO NOMINATE YOUR BUSINESS OR HONOR AN INDIVIDUAL:

  • ​Visit the Chamber Website: Click on the link “Celebrate Pawnee!” Annual Awards Nomination page.

  • Fill out the form: Dive in and detail your business journey.

  • Choose a Category: While you have the option to nominate your business in up to TWO categories, remember, it’s a night to “Celebrate You!” – choose the one where your story shines brightest and give it your all.

  • Tell your Story: What sets you apart? How have you made a mark? Give us the essence of your business.

  • Self-Nomination Encouraged!: There’s no better person to “Celebrate You” than YOU. So, nominate yourself and be proud of it!

  • Submit: once satisfied, submit your nomination. Be part of the galaxy of stars on our special night.

**Nominees must be a member of the Pawnee Chamber of Commerce to win certain

    categories.

SMALL BUSINESS AWARD


This small business is a standout organization and member of the chamber. It exhibits excellence and best business practices. CHAMBER MEMBER AWARD. Categories:


0-5 Employees


6-24 Employees


25-50 Employees


CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD

This award recognizes an individual employed by a chamber member business for their exceptional dedication to community service and having made an impact through their volunteer-based work, inspiring others to follow their example. CHAMBER MEMBER AWARD

VETERAN-OWNED BUSINESS AWARD

The winner of this designation is someone who has not only served our country but also exemplifies what it means to be a veteran-owned business owner, demonstrating pride in their service and entrepreneurship. CHAMBER MEMBER AWARD

WOMAN-OWNED BUSINESS AWARD

This award specifically recognizes a business that is owned and operated by a woman. This award focuses on excellence and best business practices demonstrated by women entrepreneurs. CHAMBER MEMBER AWARD

NON-PROFIT OF THE YEAR AWARD

This business must be a 501(c) organization that is tirelessly focused on serving the community. CHAMBER MEMBER AWARD

CHAMPION OF THE ARTS AWARD

This nominee must be a business or individual who demonstrates a passion for the arts in Pawnee. One who makes significant contribution to the community as a whole.

VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR

This nominee contributes significant volunteer hours. Has a significant positive or unique way of benefiting the community and/or Pawnee Chamber

PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD

Voted on by the citizens of the City of Pawnee. This high-end award is to recognize outstanding business leadership, customer service, and what keeps citizens going back to the business.

FIRST RESPONDER AWARD

Recognizes a law enforcement officer, paramedic, emergency medical technician, or firefighter that has made a difference beyond the role of their job description. Does not need to be a member of the chamber to be nominated.

PAWNEE EVENT AWARD

Awarded to any organization, individual, or business for an outstanding event that brings tourism to the City of Pawnee.
